Winterguard Season 2021
Thank you for your interest in joining us this year for our 2021 Virtual Winterguard season. We are very excited to be able to offer you an educational and performance opportunity. We will be following all health and safety guidelines to make sure that your safety and that of the staff remain our number one priority. With that, we have a fun season planned out for you.
The following is information you need to prepare for this exciting season.
Family ask- $40 per family
Schedule- Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6 pm in person
Friday 3-4 virtual meet
Location for in person- El Segundo Middle School (Subject to change depending on availability)
Virtual Competition-
A recording of the in person performance will be submitted the Monday prior to the contest/event. It will be adjudicated by a panel of judges and scores/placements will be posted on the day of the event (Saturday). All our performances will take place at our in person meetings. Our submissions will be available for viewing on the WGASC website. And a link for that will be shared with all our families.
We will not be sharing props or equipment. Masks are required at all times.
And a positive attitude will take us a long way.
Because of our limited time together, it is more important than ever to be present for every in person and virtual meet. Currently, our district only allows middle school students to participate virtually. For this reason, we will have a laptop set up at every in person meet so that everyone can participate.
